A Ghost Story

Writer/Director David Lowery's "A Ghost Story" will not appeal to everyone. Slow and plodding, the movie's pace may bore some viewers. It does however invoke a sense of melancholy and may leave you brooding over its meaning long after the credits roll. The movie is a thought provoking study of life, death, mourning and the passage of time on a cosmic scale. To discern the true meaning may require more than one viewing. If you love movies that make you sit up at the end and say "Woah... wait a minute... what?" This may be for you.                    4 out of 5
