Question about The Many Lives Of Caroline

So, I was asked a question in a recent email from a reader and I thought I would share the question and answer here.

Question: It took me a few chapters to wrap my head around the story and realize what was going on. So, my thoughts are that this was intentional. Am I right? Loved the book by the way!

Answer: Thank you and thanks for the question. You are correct. You get a cookie! :) My goal was for the reader to feel the same confusion as Caroline early on and as she becomes more aware of what's happening, so does the reader. Thanks again!
